You can’t eat just one! I’ve tried and failed over and over every Fall & Halloween season. Candy Corn is definitely my weakness during this time. I pass by the bags and bags of sweet corn in the grocery store and can’t help but pick up one or two bags for the house…you know for the kiddos to munch on…yeah, right! The struggle is real, folks! I am a candy corn addict & I enjoy eating it from the bag, in a mix, baked in a cake, rolled in a cookie….I love it all.
The other day while on Pinterest I came across The House of Hendrix’s Harvest Trail Mix. This mix was filled with candy corn & other sweet and salty goodies. (Make sure you check out this post from House of Hendrix’s & the cute brown bag bowls she puts together to hold her trail mix.) Immediately, I knew I had to make this for
the kiddos me. Check out the easy-peasy steps I took to putting this delicious treat together using candy corn & other snacks we had in our pantry.
Don’t do this while your kids are around. You need full concentration to make this dish…no distractions. Just kidding! I sent the kiddos upstairs to surprise them later with this sweet treat plus I didn’t want to answer to any children when I was sneaking a handful here and there.
Gather your ingredients & the biggest bowl you can find because it makes a lot.
